About the event

Science subject leaders who attend this course will:

  • learn about the links between topics within each year-group in the National Curriculum and the implications this has for sequencing

  • be able to support teachers to plan topics that cover the appropriate content

  • be able to support teachers to break down the appropriate content into sequences of learning that avoid cognitive overload

  • learn about the statements in the National Curriculum that most commonly cause issues for teaching and progression.
